We All Need To Talk

I am an experienced and qualified counsellor based in central Canterbury. I primarily work with young people (age 18+) and adults, having had experience as a counsellor in schools, colleges, workplaces and my private practice. I offer one-to-one sessions which are conducted face-to-face, with daytime and evening appointments available during the week and on Saturdays.

I work with a variety of issues and have undertaken additional training through the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) to allow me to specialise and to work professionally with eating disorders and disordered eating.

My approach to counselling is integrative with a humanistic ethos, which means that I am happy to apply a range of different approaches and techniques to suit your issues and preferred way of working. My main goal with is to offer a safe, friendly, confidential, warm, caring and non-judgmental space, where we can provide the right support to suit your needs and specific problems.

Confidentiality is also extremely important and this will be discussed with you during the initial consultation where you will also have an opportunity to ask any questions. As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), I am bound by BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also a registrant on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. Therefore, as a practicing counsellor I have regular supervision and undertake CPD. I also have a current Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Certificate and hold professional insurance.
