Tertiary Eating Disorders Specialist Service

A tertiary community based eating disorder service. The team is multidisciplinary and provides a pan-Lanarkshire service. The service also provides training, consultation and supervision into other tiers of the NHS Lanarkshire Eating Disorder care pathway including primary care, CMHT’s and psychological therapy teams.      

Referral Criteria & Process

Individuals considered who have complex eating disorders resulting in complex needs. There is also an early intervention component to the service for those in late adolescence

Experience

The team is multi-disciplinary and has a range of professionals including clinical and counselling psychology, psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy, dietetics and an assistant practitioner.
