My name is Samantha and I am a passionate and motivated Dietitian with over 14 years experience supporting both adolescents and adults with eating disorders.

Alongside my private practice in South Staffordshire, I am the Lead Dietitian at Newbridge House, a highly specialised, national eating disorders centre.
There can often be many barriers to recovery. During private sessions, we can explore these barriers and work at a pace you feel comfortable with.

After completing my degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2004, I spent the first two years of my career providing dietetic cover to a range of medical, surgical and elderly care wards at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire NHS Trust.  I also ran clinics in GP practices, providing individually tailored plans to improve the nutritional status of patients with a variety of conditions including heart disease, cancer, IBS and coeliac disease.  It was from 2006 I had the opportunity to develop the dietetic service at the local mental health hospital; it was here I first gained experience supporting adults with a variety of eating disorders.   Alongside this work I provided dietetic cover to a variety of high dependency and critical care units including the neurosurgery and cardiothoracic  high dependency unit as well as the oncology unit.   In 2012 I joined Newbridge House, a specialist hospital providing treatment for children and young people with a range of eating disorders. As the Lead Dietitian, I provide evidence-based education with the aim of supporting individuals in their journey to improve their quality of life.  By helping them make small, step by step changes, they can develop a more positive relationship with food.  Conditions I treat:  Anorexia Nervosa Bulimia Nervosa Persuasive refusal Binge eating disorder Obsessive compulsive disorder  EDNOS
