Graduated with Merit, gaining an A for my end-of-year thesis on TA for Personality Disorders.
Completed a placement at the Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre (with a Complex Trauma focus).
Was offered a salaried position with ERCC as a Counsellor pre-graduation.

Experience
Ruth has had the privilege to work in several settings, including Psychology departments, High Schools, Community Mental Health Projects, and Psychiatric Wards.
She is a Media Spokesperson working with the BACP and 23Red and can be found regularly as an expert commentator in the press.
In 2021 Ruth was awarded the titles of 'Young Inspiring Scottish Business Woman of the Year', 'Scottish Female Sole Trader of the Year' by the ASB, 'Female Solopreneur of the Year' by the Woman Who Awards, and also received a 'Gold International Business Award' in the Start-Up category at the Stevie Awards.
Ruth is a Queer Intersectional Feminist, a mother, and has the lived experience of recovery from Orthorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa, purging by over-exercise.
