Karen Raymond

I am a registered and accredited member of BACP. My initial training as a counsellor was humanistic combining person-centred, gestalt and transactional analysis approaches. Since that time I have integrated aspects of CBT, ACT and DBT into my practice. I worked in a leading treatment centre for eating disorders from 2009-2013. As a Primary Therapist, I facilitated group psychotherapy, art based sessions, psychological education and one to one psychotherapy sessions.I have managed a treatment centre and I am used to liaising with GP's and other supportive agencies if required. I am happy to link my practice as part of a multi-disciplinary team should that be beneficial.I offer a free meeting or telephone consultation before any arrangement is made to begin therapy.

Referral Criteria & Process

Clients can self-refer and I receive referrals from treatment centres and GP's.
