Experience

I have been working as a Therapist for 20+ years and have extensive experience in supporting Eating Disorder sufferers, carers and family. I provide one to one, couple or family therapy. I have experience in running a very successful ED support Group for sufferers and carers. I work as part of a virtual team with e.g. doctors, dieticians and inpatient facilities. I also have experience in running training days for ED for primary care trusts and training on weight issues supporting Nurses who manage Smoking Cessation Clinics and dealing with client resistance and providing advice. Also, I have supported Parent Groups regarding how to get their children to eat/eat better etc. My experience also extends to general therapy, providing support on anxiety, self-esteem, bereavement, sexual-abuse, addiction, relationship issues, work issues, etc.
