Jess has worked in the field of eating disorders for 12 years. Having suffered and now recovered from an eating disorder, Jess set up the charity Restored (previously called I*EAT) based in Dorset.  Jess now works as an Eating Disorders Practitioner and Counsellor freelancing in the NHS providing individual motivational sessions within the Young People's Eating Disorder Service and Kimmeridge Court as well as assisting with the weekly recovering group and multi family therapy days. Jess provides eating disorder specific support in schools aiding early intervention of eating problems. She also works for the Royal College of Psychiatry travelling around the UK assessing Adult Inpatient Eating Disorder Units. Jess is also an associate trainer for B-eat and has a passion for teaching others about the importance of understanding and identifying eating disorders.
