I am the Clinical Director and Founder of The WeightMatters Practice. We have been specializing in the area of eating disorders for 9-years, and have a wealth of experience supporting people who struggle with weight, food, eating and body issues. I personally have over 25 years experience working in this field combining the areas of psychology, counseling, psychotherapy, fitness and nutrition. I believe our holistic approach to treating eating disorders and disordered eating enables our clients to get the right treatment and support for their specific presenting issues. We listen carefully to your needs and design a treatment plan around your goals and objectives. We currently have 9 therapists in our team, along with a dietician and nutritional therapist. We offer short-term treatment to help you reduce your eating disorder symptoms and behaviours, and long-term work to allow you to unlock the deeper issues that are keeping you trapped in your chaotic and unhealthy relationship with food. Working together, in a way that suits you, enables us to get positive outcomes from therapy. We work with all of the following conditions: anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, EDNOS, night eating syndrome, emotional eating, stress eating, yo-yo dieting, self-sabotage behaviours, food addiction, obesity, pre/post bariatric surgery.
