Huntercombe Hospital Cotswold Spa is a specialist eating disorder hospital for children, adolescents and young adults of both genders aged 13- 25 years.   We offer inpatient treatment for up to 12 people with a diagnosed eating disorder, predominantly Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa.  The hospital is set in the picturesque village of Broadway in Worcestershire with Cheltenham to the South and Warwickshire to the West.  We welcome both NHS and private patients.

Referral Criteria & Process

The Huntercombe Group has been helping young people with eating disorders since 1996.   Our Broadway hospital was opened in 2010 and offers an innovative integrated inpatient and day patient service. The Cotswold Spa team are committed to providing comprehensive treatment which supports the young person and their family who are experiencing the impact of an eating disorder.  We provide help with weight restoration combined with an extensive therapeutic package working with the young person and their family/carers. We offer a range of therapeutic groups and workshops aimed at enabling the young person to think about what is happening to them, to feel comfortable expressing their feelings and to make behavioural changes.  We provide both individual and group sessions. The multi-disciplinary team consists of medical, nursing and therapeutic professionals, including family therapy and dietetic input.
