Essex Partnership Adult Eating Disorders Service

We are an NHS service for people with moderate to severe eating disorders.
We have a multi disciplinary community team of clinical nurse specialists, psychologists and family therapists and dietitians who are able to assess and provide on-going treatment.
Waiting times for both assessment and treatment are minimal.
We also have an intensive treatment day unit that operates 5 days a week offering intensive psychological treatment and supported meals.

Referral Criteria & Process

Referral is generally by GP to our access and assessment teams. Moderate to severe eating disorders. No specific weight criteria as we are concerned to assess fully the severity of the eating disorder not just weight.
