Emma Morgan
Hi, I'm Emma, a HCPC registered dietitian with over 15 years’ experience working in the NHS and private practice. After a career break to raise my family, I returned to practice driven by both my professional expertise and personal experience - my own daughter’s journey with anorexia nervosa showed me first-hand how vital specialist, empathetic dietetic care can be. I’ve worked in diabetes and weight management for many years, and more recently in specialist eating disorder services, supporting young people and their families in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Founded in 2024, Univa Health is here to change the way people and families experience eating disorder care by combining science, technology, and evidence-based programmes. At the heart of Univa are our two connected apps — one for the individual and one for their carer. This means families can move through recovery side by side, with each person receiving support tailored to their role. Our tools are designed by clinical experts and shaped by lived experience, making care more personal, more accessible, and always available when it’s needed most.We know that every family’s situation is different, so we’ve created three plans to suit different needs:1. Essentials – A digital-first programme with evidence-based modules, videos, and self-help tools that guide patients and carers step by step through recovery.2. Comfort – Everything in Essentials, plus unlimited text chat with our clinical team for ongoing encouragement, guidance, and answers to everyday questions.3. Therapy – A complete support package that includes the app, text chat, and live video therapy sessions with specialist clinicians, starting with an assessment and personalised care plan. The product experience is designed to feel supportive and engaging at every step:- Interactive care plans break recovery into manageable steps.- Self-paced modules combine evidence-based therapies with real stories from others who have been through similar journeys.- Digital tools help track wellbeing, confidence, and progress over time.- Carer support gives parents and loved ones strategies to understand eating disorders better and look after themselves, too.- Clinician access (in Comfort & Therapy) provides reassurance that clinical help is always within reach. We’re proud to work alongside the NHS and also to offer direct support to families. Our clinical team is here to help — so that no one has to face an eating disorder alone. 💙📩info@univa.health🌐 L...
