Elle Kelly, RD, BSc (Hons), MSc

Elle, BSc (hons), MSc is a specialist eating disorder dietitian and sports dietitian with a deep passion for supporting young people and adults in their recovery from eating disorders and disordered eating. She feels that nutrition is a highly individual and personal topic for everyone, and provides a compassionate, non-judgmental and realistic approach to helping clients heal their relationship with food and live a life free from restrictions.

Disordered eating is almost ‘normal’ in society today and nutrition myths circulates us everywhere. It is extremely important to Elle that she educates her clients about nutrition to help them navigate through the misinformation and trust their own bodies.

Before joining EHL, Elle worked as the sole dietitian in a private inpatient eating disorder unit and was involved in the care and treatment of acutely ill patients. She has experience working with anorexia nervosa, avoidant and restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) and binge eating disorder (BED). Elle loves to combine her specialties in eating disorders and sports nutrition to support athletes who may be struggling with the performance and physical pressures associated with their sports.

Growing up in the countryside of Ireland, Elle has a love for exploring the outdoors and all sports. Elle has a master’s degree in applied sports nutrition and loves to combine her specialties to support both recreational and professional level athletes suffering from disordered eating. Elle has a caring nature and has strong family values embedded, which she brings to her practice. Elle believes that involving families in the treatment of eating disorders can be extremely helpful and often plays a role in the development and maintenance of an eating disorder.

In her spare time, Elle can be found in the gym, in the kitchen cooking or out having a laugh with friends.
