Eating Matters

Eating Matters is a Norfolk charity providing front-line and on-going therapeutic support to children, young people and adults with eating disorders. 

We currently deliver 1:1 counselling and support for people with mild to moderate anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and OSFED (Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder). 

Please note we do not work with ARFID. 

Referral Criteria & Process

Self referral by telephone or via website and NHS referrals

Qualifications

All of the counsellors working at Eating Matters on a permanent basis are qualified to at least Graduate or Post-Graduate Diploma level, some hold Masters Degrees in counselling and are either BACP, BPC or UKCP accredited or are BACP registered.  We also take counsellors on placement during their training for their Diploma or Degree in Counselling.
