Eating Matters

Eating Matters, (the operating name of Norfolk Eating Disorders Association est. 1979) is a Norfolk charity providing front-line and on-going therapeutic support to children, young people and adults with eating disorders.  We currently deliver a range of services including: 1:1 counselling and support and a bulimic and anorexic programme. We also offer Therapeutic Workshops for Emotion-Driven Overeating:  the workshops are facilitated by an experienced psychotherapist and provide a safe place in which participants can share their experiences and better understand their individual difficulties with food and weight.  .

Qualifications

All of the counsellors working at Eating Matters on a permanent basis are qualified to at least Graduate or Post-Graduate Diploma level, some hold Masters Degrees in counselling and are either BACP, BPC or UKCP accredited or are BACP registered.  We also take counsellors on placement during their training for their Diploma or Degree in Counselling.
