Sukie is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist working in a local NHS Community All Age Eating Disorders Service and in Private Practice. She is a freelance clinical associate trainer delivering the skills-based courses for BEAT such as Developing Dolphins and Raising Resilience. Sukie has worked in a range of Mental Health Services, for children, young people and adults, for over 20 years and went on to specialize in the field of Eating Disorders in the last seven years. She is trained in a number of specialized psychological therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Sukie is passionate about improving the care of people struggling with co-occurring difficulties alongside eating disorders, such as trauma, self-harm, anxiety and depression.
