Dr Caroline Salter - Clinical Psychologist
For many, seeking therapy can be anxiety provoking. It is important to me that I support you in creating a safe place to explore your difficulties, however overwhelmed or stuck you may feel. In therapy, we will first understand what you would like to explore or change, before looking at what might be keeping your difficulties going. From here, we can decide together on the approach that feels right for you. I have worked with people with a variety of mental health problems in the NHS since 2010. I have five years experience working in a leading specialist eating disorder service in London. I currently work as lead psychologist in a general adult psychology service, where I have worked since 2019. I specialise in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Analytic Therapy for eating disorders (including anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder), depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem and persistent self-criticism.
