Connect and Change Therapy Dr Sarah Ensoll
Hello, I am Dr Sarah Ensoll a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist. I have specialised in supporting young people and their families to recover from Eating Disorders for the last 10 years. I am also able to work with adults. I have been Clinical Lead of a highly regarded NHS CAMHS Eating Disorder Service for the last 8 years. I set this service up and am extremely proud of it. I have left due to challenges in managing a work life balance with a young family. I am experienced in providing evidence based effective interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Family Therapy for Anorexia and Bulimia (FT-AN/BN), Multi-family Therapy, Parent groups, Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT), and a number of other approaches that can be integrated into a tailored package. I am skilled at working with people with early onset ED right through to extremely complex and enduring ED. I am a believer that everyone deserves help and everyone has a potential to recover with the right support at the right time. I offer a 20 minute free consultation to see if I am the right therapist to support you. It is imperative that there is a strong therapeutic relationship and I am sure that my warm compassionate approach can help you recover. I look forward to hearing from you. Please note - given that the best evidence for the recovery of children and young people from eating disorders is Family Treatment for AN/BN, I suggest anyone under 16 with a suspected eating disorder is referred to and assessed by a multi-disciplinary team via their local CAMHS.
