Children and Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service - Halton, Knowsley, St Helens and Warrington

Our Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service provides assessment, treatment and support for young people with eating disorders and their families. Our service aims to promote the early detection and treatment of eating disorders through a combination of one-to-one support and family therapy, along with support from a qualified dietitian.  Through our partnership with leading national eating disorder charity Beat, we also work closely with local schools and colleges to raise awareness and support the identification of eating disorders amongst pupils and staff.

Referral Criteria & Process

Service can be accessed by children and young people living in Bolton and Wigan. Will accept referrals from GPs, teachers, school nurses, social workers and other health professionals.
