Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Eating Disorder Team

We assess and provide treatment for children and young people up to 18 years old with a significant eating disorder.

We help young people to achieve a full recovery from their eating disorder. This includes its effect on their lives and on their families and carers.

We help with:

  • physical recovery
  • behavioural recovery
  • thinking recovery
  • emotional recovery
  • family recovery
  • relationship recovery
  • social recovery

Our main base is at Thorneywood in Nottingham but we also provide clinics in Mansfield, Newark and Langold. Parking and disabled access are available at all of our sites.

Referral Criteria & Process

You can be referred to this service by a healthcare or educational professional. Parents/carers and young people can also self-refer for CAMHS support using our online form or by calling 0115 854 2299.
