Experience

My extensive training and experience includes a range of theoretical approaches that are essential in working with disordered eating and body image distress. I began initially in addictions and then onto a specialist PND (perinatal depression) service. Before, during and after pregnancy can be a challenging time for many who struggle with food and their body. Further training in Supervision, Family Therapy, Eating Disorders, EMDR and Trauma also inform my work as a Specialist Counsellor.
