We can all suffer to varying degrees. It is a fact of life and part of being human and yet sometimes we get stuck. Engaging in therapy and letting a therapist join you for part of your journey can be a valuable and rewarding experience.

As well as helping people with difficult emotions and life experiences, I also have extensive experience and specialist training to work with Eating Disorders. I work with individuals (aged 13+) and families. I offer FBT (Family Based Treatment), MANTRA (Maudsley Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults), CBT-E (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders), CFT (Compassion Focused Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and psychoeducation.

I strongly believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationship that we build together will determine the outcome of your therapy. It is an enormous privilege for me to be invited into someone's life and to watch them grow and change.

Self, GP and other professional referrals. I will work with individuals who are underweight providing they are being overseen by a medical professional.

Referral Criteria & Process

I take referrals from Individuals, Families, GP's, Psychiatrists, NHS Eating Disorder Services and Private Health Care Plans. I am registered to work for Aviva, AXA PPP, BUPA, Cigna, Vitality and WPA. Referral processes vary depending upon who is referring you, no matter what the referral process I always undertake a thorough assessment to ensure I feel I am able help you. You need to be under medical supervision throughout our work together and to give permission for me to liase with whomever is providing this.

BA(Hons) Integrative Relational Counselling

I have extensive experience in offering early intervention for emerging eating disorders, as well as working with those who have had the illness for some time.

I work with individuals, families and partners and I am experienced in liaising and working with other professionals to provide a high standard of care.

I also work with people who may have a dual diagnosis and have experience in working with Aspergers and Eating Disorders.
