Anna Oliver, Highly Specialist Eating Disorder Dietitian

Anna is a registered dietitian, accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council, the gold standard for nutrition and clinical nutritional advice. Anna is also a professional member of the British Dietetics Association (BDA) and the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED).

Anna conducts a private practice in London and serves as the Chair of the London Eating Disorder Dietitians Group.  She has primarily dedicated her career to nutritional counselling, supervising and teaching in the treatment for eating disorders across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults); and has been working in the eating disorder field since 2007 (including both inpatient and outpatient treatment within the NHS and private sector).

Anna’s values are:

1.  Compassion (deep awareness of another’s suffering);

2.  Authenticity (to be genuine / real);

3.  Mindfulness (to be open and curious of the here and now).

She empowers her clients to cultivate an awareness of their relationship with food and their body, discover a guiltless relationship with food, an accepting relationship with their bodies, and a connection to living an authentic and balanced life.  We are all born with this ability but our life experiences within today’s society, which is flood with conflicting advice and a focus on our physical appearance, can mean we lose touch with this.

Anna has completed a graduate certificate in ‘Systemic approaches to working with individuals, families and organisations’ (accredited by The Association of Family Therapy); and training in enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E).  Anna’s varied clinical and therapeutic training helps her clients find a better understanding of themselves while moving towards a life led primarily by their authentic core self.

Anna is based at both 10 Harley Street, London W1G 9PF and 35 Great James Street, London WC1N 3H.
